CSA Cohabitation
We had a telephone call from a woman who necessary to discover where her husband was. He had left her and also the young children but had not given her a forwarding address. She told us that although he came to see their youngsters when a week he didn’t give her any cash for them and with out an address for him she could not give his details to the CSA. He had changed his job when he left and she did not know where he was operating now. The only time she knew where he was was when he came to see the kids.
We decided that to find out exactly where he was living and working we should fit a tracking device to his vehicle. This would tell us where he was staying and where he was operating. The vehicle belonged to our client so we could fit the device when he next came to go to the young children. We suggested the device should stay on the vehicle for two weeks. This would make sure a superb pattern of movements from the car.
We found the data inside the first week and having a few follow up telephone calls confirmed the info was right. We removed the device following two weeks and our client could give the info to the CSA. Our client then decided she wanted to know if he was cohabitating with another woman. We carried out surveillance on the property address we had identified for him. Following three sessions of six hour slots we had enough evidence of cohabitation for our client to take to her solicitor.
